STA. BARBARA – Retired Police Deputy Director General Reynaldo Velasco said it is imperative that the nation has a credible and honest elections “if we are to save democracy, bring stability and regain our nation’s pride.”

Velasco, speaking before teachers of Pangasinan at the Banaoang Central School where he graduated, urged all sectors of government particularly public school teachers to support the Philippine National Police’s Plan H.O.P.E., short for Honest, Orderly, Peaceful Elections.

CHA-CHA FORUM IN POZORRUBIO. Things looked up for the People’s Initiative in the town of Pozorrubio with the attendance of some 500 townsfolk from all walks of life in the recent Charter Change Forum spearheaded by the Advocay Commission led by Sigaw ng Bayan spokesperson Raul Lambino (seen at right leading the signing of the People’s Initiative form among his Pozorrubio townmates.) LARGE CATTLE BRANDING. The San Carlos City Police led by Supt. Johnny Bacbac, in cooperation with the city treasurer’s office, have launched the massive “branding” of large cattle as a countermeasure to cattle rustling.. Policemen check out some cows brought to the registration area in barangay Malacanang for branding.
