A SEETHING rivalry between two groups of homeowners in a Dagupan subdivision is emerging as a strong angle behind the June 1 bomb explosion in the residential subdivision.

A police task force formed by Police Chief Dionicio Borromeo to investigate the incident has come out with initial findings the explosion could have been the handiwork of some elements out to intimidate subdivision residents they are at odds with.

Inspector Hermie Ancheta, head of the task force, said while no one was injured, it was noted that the bomb explosion happened near the house of a leader of one homeowners group, Jose Damaso, at the corner of Apahap and Alimango streets at the Tondaligan Blue Beach Subdivision (TBBS) in Bonuan Gueset
