Governor Espino, GMA spokesperson open Pangasinan Tourism,Trade Expo
LINGAYEN – Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. formally opened the 1st Pangasinan Tourism and Trade Expo held at the Girl Scout of the Philippines extension lot here with invited guests led by Deputy Press Secretary Anthony Golez and Department of Tourism (DOT) Regional Director Martin Valera.
The governor said that although Pangasinan is endowed with a wide array of natural and man-made tourist come-ons, the province still lags behind other provinces in the region in terms of tourism industry.
With the province’s 2.7 million population, he pointed out that there are many things that the province should be proud of. One is its human resources that takes pride in tracing its

Another is its leaders who are doing their best to catch up and accomplish tremendous achievement thru the establishment of mega projects such as the international seaport and airports that when completed will help boost Pangasinan tourism.
The ten-day sale and expo, aims to push tourism and local industries in the province thru the active involvement of various government and private sectors.
