SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – A father was killed and his two sons were hurt in a shooting incident in Purok 6, barangay San Francisco this city last Wednesday.

The victims were having a conversation in front of their residents when one of the two suspects arrived on board a motorcycle and shot them several times.

The fatality was identified as Bonifacio Canedo, 62, of Purok 6, Barangay San Francisco, San Fernando City, La Union.

The injured victims were Nathaniel, 32, and Eleazar, 28.
Investigation disclosed that the victims were shot four times by the suspected gunman.

The three victims were rushed to Ilocos Training and Medical Center but the elder Canedo was declared dead on arrival.
A follow up investigation is now being conducted by the police. (PNA)
