LINGAYEN – Pista’y Dayat 2008 promises to be a grand and spectacular event with the search for Limgas na Dayat 2008 as one of the highlights.

In line with this, the screening for the beauty pageant will be held on March 16 and 23, 1 p.m. at the Lingayen Resort Hotel here.

Leo G. Urmaza, pageant chairperson, said that candidates must possess the following qualifications: single, 16-23 years old, resident of Pangasinan for at least one year, at least 5’3” in height, high school graduate, of good moral character and with pleasing personality.

Urmaza said the search will choose the lady who can well promote the province’s environmental awareness and conservation

”in addition to her physical beauty, innate charm and intellectual capabilities.”

Interested applicants are required to bring the following during the screening: A copy of the high school or college diploma or certificate of graduation, endorsement of the mayor or local police chief, two-piece swimwear, casual dress and at least 3-inch high heeled shoes.
