BINMALEY—A barangay councilman in Caloocan Norte here is wanted for the slaying of a barangay tanod on Saturday.

Wanted by the police is Rod Bautista, who used a Cal. 45 pistol, in shooting Agapito Esguerra Jr. The two had misunderstanding hours before the shooting.

The police said the firearm used in the shooting was probably unlicensed.

Meanwhile, another man, believed to be a victim of summary execution was found along the roadside in barangay Caloocan Sur.

The police said the victim, who was fair complexioned, was previously unidentified.

A woman went to the police station however claiming that the cadaver was her husband named Mer Javier, a jeepney driver from Bonuan Gueset.

The victim’s body bore torture marks aside from gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.

The wife of the victim Jennilyn said her husband was fetched from their house in Bonuan Gueset by a certain “John” but did not return home since then. (PNA)
