THE city government headed by Vice Mayor and presiding officer Belen Fernandez has finally approved in its special session on Monday a P427.5 million budget for the city of Dagupan for 2008.

Councilor Danilo Torio, Tchair of the committee on finance and appropriations, said the approved budget is P52 million higher than the more than P373 million budget of the city last year prepared and approved by the previous city administration.
