Jilted husband kills wife, lover in rage
BAUTISTA—A jilted husband, in a fit of jealousy, ran amuck in barangay Nandacan here early Friday, leaving a trail of blood at the house of the man who took his wife of less than one year.
The suspect, Domingo Ferrer, of Bongato West slipped into the house of the man his wife was now living in and hacked and stabbed to death Adrian Joseph Cacatian, 28, the alleged lover and Analyn Beltran Ferrer, 29, his estranged wife, while the two were in bed.
The two died on the spot due to multiple hack and stab wounds in different parts of the body.
Domingo and Analyn were married but separated less than a year after they wed.
After hacking Analyn and Joseph Adrian in bed, the suspect also vented his anger on Cacatian’s mother Conchita, and her other son Rodel, a barangay councilman of Nandacan, who were roused from their sleep while in another room.
Conchita and Rodel were rushed to the San Juan Bautista Hospital but the former, who was in serious condition, had to be transferred to the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in San Carlos City later in the day.
Witnesses said they saw Domingo Ferrer leaving the house of the victim with a bolo in one hand aboard his bicycle. He works as a butcher.
Police are hunting down the suspect. (PNA)
