LINGAYEN—A man drowned while swimming on Christmas Day in the Lingayen Beach, according to the police.

Gregorio Inalvez, 40, married, an employee of Robina Farm, of Villa Aglipay, San Jose, Tarlac drowned at around 11 a.m. while swimming with friends and relatives. He was brought by strong current to the deeper portion of the beach where he sank.

He was fished out moments later and rushed to the Sto. Niño Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The victim’s cadaver was autopsied by Dr. Manuel Bautos, Lingayen Rural Health Unit physician with the consent of the victim’s wife Vicky Inalvez. (PNA
