Barangay dad dead in Yule party violence

AGUILAR—A Christmas party in barangay Panacol here turned bloody when a barangay councilman was shot dead while responding to a trouble at 1 a.m. of December 23.

The fatality was identified as Isidro Parayaoan, alias Boy, who was shot by Ludovico Domingo, alias Nardo, 35, who allegedly opened fore with the use of an undetermined firearm while on board a motorcycle.

The victim suffered one gunshot wound in the right side of his body and died on the spot.

Domingo was arrested along with his brother, PO1 William Domingo, 29, a member of the Special Action Force of the Philippine National Police.

Seized by former barangay councilman Melecio Manolid from William was a U.S. Magnum 22 Smith and Wesson snub-nose revolver and one Brazil-made caliber 9mm pistol Taurus with magazine loaded with 12 ammunitions, including one Suzuki Shogun motorcycle.

It was the latter firearm, a PNP property, that was believed to have been used in the shooting.
