18 new barangay heads for Dagupan

THERE are more new barangay captains in Dagupan city elected in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections than those reelected.

This was gleaned from records of the City Elections Office showing that there were 18 newly elected barangay captains against 13 who were reelected.

The new barangay captains are Angelito Gumarang of Bonuan Gueset, Alfredo Quinto Jr. of Bonuan Boquig, Ronaldo Torio of Bonuan Binloc, Lilia Yasar of Pantal, Wilfredo Salayog of Tambac, Sonny Tirates of Mamalingling, Bernardo Cabison of Manguin, Jose Sim of Barangay 4, George Galvan of Pogo Grande, Violeta Balolong of Bacayao Norte, Alex Claveria of Caranglaan, Michael Taminaya of Bacayao Sur, Joseph David Ramos of Lasip Chico, Rodolfo Siapno of Lasip Grande, Raymond Tuliao of Lomboy, Luzviminda Velasquez of Carael and Manuel Flores of Calmay.

Those relected were led by two barangay captains who ran unopposed. They are Marcelino Fernandez of Lucao and Delfin de Guzman of Salapingao.

Others elected were Marcial Rioflorido of Malued, Roberto Dion of Tebeng, Noel Melecio of Barangay 2, Conrado Muyalde of Salisay, Herminigildo Rosal of Barangay 1, Marvin Fabia of Bolosan, Salvacion Bravo of Herrero-Perez East, Samuel Guadiz of Mayombo, Luis Santiago Samson of Pogo Chico, Joaquin Reyes of Tapuac and Guillermo Vallejos of Poblacion Oeste.

Incumbents who lost included Barangay Captains Mario Rayos of Pantal, Reody Macasieb of Barangay 4, Ador Bancod of Pugaro and CariƱo Aquino of Bonuan Boquig.
