Pangasinan’s most wanted arrested in Cavite
PANGASINAN’S most wanted man was arrested on Thursday after hiding out for years in Silang, Cavite.
Arrested by joint elements of the Provincial Intelligence Branch and the 106th Provincial Mobile Group led by Group Director Inspector Frankie S. Candelario was Tirso del Rosario, 52, a native of barangay Centro Toma, Bani.
The wanted man is facing criminal charges for murder with the use of unlicensed firearm and carried P140,000 reward for his capture.
Elements of the Pangasinan police who received information that del Rosario was hiding in Silang, Cavite, immediately proceeded to the place and conducted intelligence monitoring.
The fugitive was finally arrested about 7 a.m. while he was taking breakfast at his residence at barangay Putting-Kahoy in Silang, Cavite.
Del Rosario was in hiding from the law since he committed the crime sometime in December 1999.
While in Cavite, the fugitive was hired at PLAAT Security Agency based in Silang town.
The monetary reward for the capture of del Rosario is contained in Department of Interior and Local Government Memo Circular Number 2006-146.
Del Rosario was reported to be a former member of the Philippine Army and was a member of the dreaded Del Rosario Group, a gun-for-hire organized crime group.
He is now committed at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology jail in Alaminos City to face trial. (PNA)
