ELEMENTARY education is the foundation of a person’s lifelong education.

It is during the elementary grades that the Child develops his personality, his system of beliefs and values, his attitudes and all other aspects of human behavior necessary for proper adjustment to his community and the society.

Within this context, Anda Central School gives considerable emphasis and continuing concern to the Department of Education thrust, Schools First Initiative (SFI), which aims at Quality – quality of teachers, quality of instruction, quality of curricula, quality of students, quality of output and quality of standards.

Our school focuses on improving the following aspects: 1) education outcomes/academic performances; 2) physical facilities and instructional materials; 3) instructional programs to provide maximum intellectual opportunities for pupils commensurate with their capacity to absorb and apply; 4) teacher’s pre-service and in-service programs ; and 5) status of the teaching profession continued along established channels.

Happily enough, the Key Result Areas (KRAs) of the School
Improvement Plan (SIP) now shows quality educational outcomes and academic performances of the students as attested to and evident in our participations, achievements, victories and various recognitions received in the District and Division Staff competitions.

Instructional and physical developments are also given equal attention with the support of the PTCA, HRPTA, local government units, government organizations and non-government organizations.

Our vision for quality education to bring about well-rounded students who will grow up as responsible citizens of the republic however needs a unified effort. Everyone – the government, teachers, parents and the community as a whole — should support the school in fulfilling its educational goals consistent with the Schools First Initiative Program.

The school, for its part, should find every means to enlist and encourage the local villagers and gatekeepers cooperation for the latter to understand what the school hopes to achieve with its programs and projects.
