THE Summer Kindergarten Program (SKP), an outreach program of the Iglesia Ni Cristo through the New Era University is now accepting enrollees for its two-month teaching program.

LINGAYEN – The provincial government is set to screen another batch of applicants for the Provincial Scholarship Program, a program expanded by Gov. Victor E. Agbayani to provide free education to poor but deserving college students in the province.

SAN CARLOS CITY –– Five graduates of the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation (VMUF) here successfully passed the September 2006 Bar Examinations given by the Supreme Court released April 3.

EARTH DAY in Pangasinan will be observed with a Walk-For-A-Cause to be followed by a mini-concert on Tuesday, April 24. .
Officer-in-charge Leduina Co of the provincial environment and natural resources office said the Alay Lakad Para sa Kalikasan will pass along the main thoroughfare of Dagupan City. The activity starts at 7 a.m.
A short program to include a mini-concert follows at the People’s Astrodome. Singer Gary Granada is expected to attend, she said.

A VIRTUAL “power” meeting is set on Tuesday April 17 at the Dagupan Village Hotel between power distributors, the police and the Commission on Elections to ensure a brownout-free election in Pangasinan.
Department Manager Jose Arellano of the National Transmission Corporation district III based in San Manuel said that the meeting also aims to establish a communication center that will facilitate effective transfer of information during normal and abnormal conditions and to ensure security of transmission facilities.
