Malasiqui voters in exodus to Soriano camp’s arms
MALASIQUI – Common folk and various sectors in this third district town have expanded their support for the candidacy of lawyer Gallant D. Soriano, Armand Domantay, the mayoralty c andidate of PDSP here said Thursday.
According to Domantay, over 50 barangay chairmen of this town have pledged their support for Soriano after they met with him and joined his sorties around the district.
“We have great faith in Soriano that he can bring us to a much better tomorrow in the third district because he has the sterling qualities of a leader and a brother to men, Domantay said.
Arsenio Torio of barangay Palung here see in the platform of the former deputy Customs commissioner for free hospitalization, free college education and vocational courses, concreting of all district roads and more job opportunities for all thru new enterprises assisted by micro-financing the fruition of their aspirations for a better life.
Soriano has pledged to fund all these thru his Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) once elected.
Barangay Captain Rodrigo Dacasin of barangay Aliaga, meanwhile, stressed that they have full faith in Soriano because he speaks the common man’s language, being from the heart of Pangasinan itself – San Carlos City – unlike some of his rivals for the congressional seat who are non-natives of Pangasinan and cannot speak the dialect enough to understand the inner feelings of the constituents.
Latest surveys in the district have put Soriano way ahead of his rivals, a foretaste of his coming victory in the election.
