Taliño, concurrent deputy provincial director for operation and intelligence branch chief; and Alejandro Valerio, PPPO Human Resource branch chief.
This column learned their promotion order to the next rank from Camp Crame (from Superintendent to Senior Superintent) came out last November 10. The oathtaking of the newly promoted officers will be held this December (the best Christmas gift indeed) at Malacañang Palace before Pres. Gloria Arroyo.
With this development, we expect movement come January 2007 as per PNP guideline, only the provincial or city police director should have the rank of Senior Superintendent at the provincial command or city police office.
Just like what we observed in the past, either the new senior superintendents are re-assigned at the regional police office or are designated as provincial director.
