Dasol Bay Rotarians set induction May 22
THE Rotary Club of Dasol Bay will hold its charter presentation and induction of officers on May 22 at Jaslyn Beach Resort located in Barangay Hermosa, Dasol.
Mayor Angelita O. Jimenez as charter president, will lead the inductees with Rotary District 3790 Governor Gerardo “Gerpy” Erguiza as guest of honor and inducting officer.
Coinciding with the charter anniversary of its mother club-the Rotary Club of Hundred Islands, the whole-day affair will start with a motorcade, followed by a blood-letting project at the Orbos Gym.
Dubbed as “Dugo Mo, Buhay Ko” the project will be held in coordination with the Philippine National Red Cross (Alaminos City Chapter), Rotary Club of Sta. Cruz (Zambales) and the Rotary Club of Hundred Islands.
Burgos Mayor Domingo Doctor, also a Rotarian, pledged to provide at least 20 blood donors.
Other officers to be inducted with Jimenez are: Hipolito Basuel, president elect; Nereo Guiang, treasurer; Elizabeth Pulido, protocol officer; Leo Montero, Sgt.-at-arms and Manuel Ruben Bunao, Auditor.
The directors are: Hipolito Basuel, club services; Avelino Nacar, community service; Epifanio Jimenez, international service and Jo-Ann Alejos youth service. Club adviser and District Governor’s Special Representative is PP William Chan.–HBB
