Sta. Maria beauty bags Limgas crown
YOUNG and vibrant. Chic and lovely.
All these assets plus her firmly sculptured 33-23-33 ½ body made Jamile Ann N. Aggabao the judges’ final choice for the Limgas na Dayat 2006 crown.
A 20-year old nursing student of the Saint Louise University in Baguio City, Jamile is no stranger to beauty competitions, having joined several beauty pageants, including the Miss Sta. Maria (Pangasinan) beauty tilt which she won.
This year’s Limgas queen went home with the P75,000 purse, including a trip for two to Hong Kong.
Sixteen-year old Hazel Sahar B. Nievera of Urdaneta City was adjudged first runner-up and received a cash prize of P50,000.00 including a trip to Laoag while Michelle Pimentel of Manaoag town snared the second runner-up trophy.
Pimentel also clinchéd the Miss Talent award and Best in Swimsuit. She received P30,000, including a colored TV from Rene Almeda, Vice President of Panasonic, and a trip to Vigan City.
The other special awards went to Hazeline R. Bercero of Alaminos City for Best in Costume, Sheila Mae S. Manaois of Labrador for Best in Evening Gown; Hazel Mae A. Ramos of Sta. Barbara for Miss Friendship and Photogenic.
Special award winners were given P5,000 cash prize each.
The members of the board of judges were Miss Gionna Cabrera, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2005, Miss Jamie Castillo, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2003, Mr. Bernardo Babaran, Vice-President, Operations and Station Manager of MIRANT Power Corporation, Mr. Rene Almeda, Vice-President of Panasonic Inc. and Mr. Tai Miura, Vice-President of San Roque Power Corporation.
