HALE, the hottest boy band in mega-Manila, will perform in DagupanCity on April 30 during the streetparty that highlights the annual ‘Bangus Festival’. The band is slated to perform on Stage 6 along A. B. Fernandez Avenue.

HALE’s performance is solely sponsored by House Speaker Jose C. de Venecia, Jr. as a gift to Dagupenos particularly the young people.In 2003, during the Festival’s initial stagings, de Venecia also donated P1 million to help jumpstart the festival that has now become a byword among merrymakers.

Also scheduled this summer is the Speaker’s Cup, a marathon of basketball events in the 4th district that aims to rally the youth for a healthier diversion of their energies.

During the free concert, HALE will perform its greatest hits like “The Day You Said Goodnight”, “Kung Wala Ka”, “Kahit Pa”, “Broken Sonnet”, “Toll Gate” and many more. The band members will be giving away souvenir t-shirts, CDs and other souvenirs to lucky spectators.

HALE soared t fame due to its melodramatic songs that stand out for their simplicity and honesty.

“The lyrical content of our songs are insightful, angry, sad and earnest. We try to produce music with substance and explore the full range of human emotions,” lead vocalist Champ described their repertoire.
