SIX lovely Dagupenas who have shown true worth as women achievers in their own work and hobbies were honored in lavish rites at the Leisure Coast Resort Water Park in Bonuan Binloc, this city, Thursday evening.

The recognition of the six ladies was sponsored by the Lady’s Choice to coincide with the Bangus Festival of Dagupan City.

Declared Ladies of Choice, the six unveiled their individual photos showing them in happy poses daintily holding a cracker or two dipped in their favorite Ladies Choice dip creation.

Adding spice to the evening’s show was a message from showbiz megastar Sharon Cuneta to women played shortly after a multi-media presentation of festivals and food specials that used the favorite side dish – the Mayo-and-Something Dip.

The lady-honorees are health advocate Celia Lambino, culinary innovator and Plato Wraps proprietor Kamela Crisologo-Seen, restaurateurImelda Austria of Matutina’s, City Legal Officer Geraldine Baniqued, Restaurant Association of Dagupan chairman Michelle Lioanag and souvenir artist Sonia Yao.

May Soriano, one of the event organizers, said the project is now on its second year. Housewives were the awardees last year. For its second run, the event catered to those in the career women category, Soriano added..

A dip contest followed the awarding where visitors created their own ‘dip’ concoctions using merry mixes of intriguing ingredients.

With terrific Mayo’s delicious Love-a-Food-Trip, Dagupenos during the Bangus festival and Pista’y Dayat celebration have the chance not just to take a dip in the city’s beachwaters but also enjoy the Ladies Choice yummy ‘dips”, the organizers said.
