POZORRUBIO – An Austrialian citizen died when he was bumped by a speeding passenger bus along the national highway in barangay Cablong here last Tuesday.

The fatality was identified as Russel James Suttler, 43, of 19 Andrews St., Singleton, New South Wales, Australia, and living in Parang, Marikina City.

Investigation showed that Suttler was crossing the highway from the west when he was bumped by north-bound Dominion Bus driven by one Edgar Pascual of Tondo, Manila.

He died on the spot from multiple injuries in the head and body.

The victim was brought to a local funeral home where his body may be claimed by his relatives or the staff of the Australian embassy.

The driver of the bus was placed under police custody. (PNA)
