Vigilante hand seen behind deaths of 3
SUSPECTED vigilantes struck anew in Dagupan City killing an unidentified man who was dumped on top of a garbage heap along Jose R. de Venecia Highway in barangay Lucao here Tuesday dawn.
The cadaver may have been the third salvage victim in the city in a span of only one week following the earlier discovery of two more bodies in two separate places in the city a few days ago.
All victims, one of whom was a woman, were suspected police characters who might have been eliminated by the supposed vigilantes, whose members could no yet be identified.
Like in the two previous cases, the victim had was seemed to be a ‘dog tag’, a sheet of paper identifying the cadaver to be a drug pusher, snatcher and involved in other notorious activities.
The victim was hot with a Cal. 45 pistol in the head. He was five foot and seven inches, with tattoo on the left arm and wearing a maong pants and no upper garment.
Also shot dead and found earlier were an unidentified man on Fernandez street near Florence Hotel and the woman victim, identified as Raquel Noriega, 45, also with a string of criminal cases in her record, at the intersection of Tebeng and Caranglaan roads.
Supt. Edgar Basbas, police chief of Dagupan , said his men are investigating all the incidents and checking on similarities in pattern in order to establish some leads.
Basbas denied any police involvement in the killings although the first impression was these perpetrated by policemen as the victims are involved in several criminal activities. (PNA)
