PNP can’t stop budding ‘terrorist’

THE serial bomber of Dagupan has struck again, this time hurting an 11-year-old scavenger.

The victim, identified as Jaime Brillo III of Herrero-Perez, a Grade II pupil, sustained injuries in his hand and parts of his body when a device exploded while he was rummaging thru a garbage pile Tuesday morning at the back portion of the former Pantranco terminal, now used as holding area for various transport groups.

The police have yet to identify the culprit and motive for the bombing.

The serial bombing started in 2001 victimizing garbage collectors and scavengers.

Apparently, the suspect or suspects have knowledge in electronics and bomb preparation. He or they use batteries for trigger devices, it was gathered.

Supt. Edgar Basbas, city police chief, said investigators were following thru some leads but they do not have enough proof to pin down any suspect even as he admitted that the perpetrator has some knowledge in making explosive device.
